Now is the time to buy some fruits and serve fresh fruit kabobs with honey yogurt dip. Totally tasty and so easy.
Have you noticed in the grocery stores right now that there is an abundance of fruit? Fresh melons that are really inexpensive, the same with mangos, grapes and pineapple. I saw one store in the Twin Cities advertising 3 cantaloupes for $1.00!
Just pick up whatever fruit your heart desires and assemble bite sized chunks on skewers however you like. The skewers I used were the long bamboo ones that most stores have. If you want to get fancy, you could pick up some shorter, hors d’oeuvres skewers. Make as many as you like for your crowd, but I would figure that each person is going to eat at least three.
The honey yogurt dip is what makes these special. Just dip your fruit kabob into the yogurt for a sweet treat with the added flavor of the almond extract. If you’re not sure you’d like the almond flavor, use a little bit of vanilla extract instead.
Double dipping is allowed for these kabobs, in fact, it is encouraged.
This is a super easy recipe for eating fresh fruit kabobs. Skewer to your heart’s content and serve with honey yogurt dip.

I came home after biking for an hour and I ate several of these with ice cold water; it was perfect for cooling me down and quenching my thirst. Delicious, too!!
