Whisk together the garlic, lime juice, soy sauce, oil. and honey in a small bowl
Lightly salt the salmon and place in a zip lock bag with 1/2 of the marinade
Remove as much air as possible, seal, and set aside for 30 minutes.
Place the salmon on a sizzle platter or a rimmed baking pan and coat with 1/2 of the reserved marinade.
Place under the broiler, about 7 inches from the burner, for 5 to 6 minutes
Coat the salmon again with the remaining reserved marinade and broil for 2 more minutes.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with sesame seeds and tent with foil for 3 or 4 minutes.
