KEY LIME PIE
Easy, anyone can do it recipe for Key Lime Pie
Servings 8 slices
- 1 9 inch pie plate with graham cracker crust made according to instructions on box.
- Or use 1 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers which is 10 or 12 crackers , 1/4 cup sugar and 1/3 cup melted butter, mixed well then pressed into the pie plate. Refrigerate for 1 hour to set or put in the freezer while you mix the pie filling.
- 5 egg yokes , beaten
- 1 14 oz . can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup Key Lime juice
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.
In a bowl, combine filling ingredients well.
Pour into the graham cracker crusted pie tin. (Do not pre-bake the crust)
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven,
Serve cold with whipped cream topping.
